Fishing

Row out to the peaceful waters of Loch Arkaig or Loch Blar, both just a short trip from the hotel, and enjoy a day of quiet contemplation and, we hope, successful catches. Permits are included in every booking, and you can either bring your own trusty rods and tackle or hire top-quality gear from our external fishing partner, who will organise the full trip.  

Loch Arkaig 

While pike fishing is available year-round, you’ll only be able to hook the local wild brown trout, Ferox trout and Arctic charr between 15th March and 6th October.  

Loch Blar 

An exclusive, remote wild brown trout fishing experience for up to four people – two in the boat, two on the shore. Available May to August, these trips include transport in an impressive 8x8 Argo, which is an experience all by itself!
