‘Seasgair’ by Michel Roux Jr

Dining at Seasgair is an unmissable part of any stay. This signature experience is named after the Gaelic for ‘warm and comfortable’. Overseen by two Michelin-star chef Michel Roux Jr, it’s been designed to make guests feel as if they’re dining in a private home, among friends.

Our culinary love story begins in the Great Hall, where you’ll be greeted with a perfectly chilled glass of champagne (or custom cocktail) and canapés.

Then, you’ll indulge in five artfully devised dishes that showcase ingredients from local producers. Menus move in rhythm with the seasons, with the option to enjoy paired wines selected by our sommelier.

And for a truly unique experience, you can choose to join Mary Shaw’s Table in the Library. This gives guests the opportunity to meet and share our dining experience as a group.

Key information

Seasgair costs £145 per person, and includes freshly prepared canapés, a 5-course set menu, petit fours with tea and coffee, and a custom welcome drink created by our sommelier.

Let us know before you arrive if you have any allergens or dietary requirements and we’ll create your menu to allow for this. We’re always happy to cater for your dietary needs but can’t guarantee absolute separation of allergens or take responsibility for any adverse reaction.

For the dining experience to be truly memorable, it requires our kitchen’s full attention. This is why there’s one sitting per evening, and this is the only dining option available after 6.30pm, including room service.
