Gate Lodge

Nestled in nature, this quaint, self-contained Victorian gate lodge in the castle grounds offers a private place to stay as a family of three or close group of friends.  

There’s a comfy double bedroom and snug little single, plus a separate living area for companionable get-togethers and a handy kitchen space, with everything you need to prepare a light refreshment or chill some drinks.  

There’s also a bathroom and shower room, so you can get on with getting ready for dinner in the castle or a busy day exploring the Highland surroundings without delay. Just remember to leave time if you’re planning to dine in the castle – the gate lodge is a short walk away.  

We’ve packed in the same luxuries here as you’d find in the castle and stables, including soft Egyptian cotton bedlinens and robes, layered fabrics and impressive textures. And with the serene loch just outside, you’ll find plenty of space for contemplation.
